BOROUGH Oedfaon y Sul (dwyieithog) am 11 o’r gloch – gweler tud. 1

The Autumn Term commenced on Friday, 3 September, with a Coffee Morning organised by Margaret Jones in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
In our Harvest Festival Service on 9 October, we were pleased to welcome Gwenallt and Non Rees from the Tabernacl, Cardiff. They spoke about their commitment to work with and educate the people, particularly the children, of Lesotha .
After our Service on Sunday, 13 November, a group of us went to the National Portrait Gallery to see “The First Actresses – Nell Gwyn to Sarah Siddons” Exhibition. The visit was organised by Neil Evans, and it was extremely helpful to have someone as knowledgeable as Neil to accompany us around the Gallery.

Ar nos Fercher, 7 Rhagfyr, cawsom Noson o Garolau yma i Ddysgwyr Cymraeg a’u ffrindiau. R’ydym yn falch i groesawu a chefnogi y Dysgwyr.
Dydd Sul, 11 Rhagfyr, cynhelir ein Gwasanaeth Nadolig wedi ei drefnu gan ein Harweinydd, Eiri Jones. Cymrodd aelodau y capel ac eraill rhan yn y Gwasanaeth. Ar ol y Gwasanaeth cawsom cinio wedi ei paratoi gan Howel Jones.
Trist oedd clywed am farwolaeth Bet Jones, neu Bet (Brixton) fel r’oeddem yn ei hadnabod. Fe fu yn aelod ffyddlon yma am sawl blwyddyn cyn symud i fyw yn Aberystwyth. R’oedd yn bleser bob amser i fod yn ei chwmni ac fe fydd colled ar ei hol. Bu farw yng Nhartref Bodlondeb, Aberystywyth, a chafodd ei chladdu yn Mynydd Bach, Trisant. Cydymdeimlwn hefyd a Lynwen, Howel a’r teulu ar farwolaeth Dennis Evans, tad Lynwen.

Sallie Barbary was in hospital for a few weeks but we are pleased that she is now back home.
Congratulations to Ann (Tudor) Evans’ mother, Mrs Ethel Williams, on her 100th birthday. She celebrated with family and friends at her home in Old Colwyn.
